Simon Barnett

In 2015 Simon Barnett and his dancing partner Vanessa Cole won New Zealand's Dancing With the Stars, once again catapulting Simon into the limelight.

For Simon it was a departure from his "day job" where he currently co-hosts the top rating national  morning show on Christchurch radio station 92 More FM with Gary McCormick. Simon generally keeps a fairly low profile these days in his home town of Christchurch, where he lives with his wife and two daughters.

Simon first hit the TV screens as one of the hosts in the children's TV programme What Now? from 1988-1992. He also appeared in the 1990 film Ruby and Rata.

In 1994 he hosted Clash of the Codes which pitted athletes from different sports codes against each other as teams in a series of physical challenges. With Ian Ferguson and Steve Gurney.

A regular and popular face on New Zealand television he hosted the New Zealand version of the UK musical talent show, Stars In Their Eyes from 2008 to 2009, and was the host of the 2013 series of Mitre 10 Dream Home.

While Simon is settling back down after the gruelling "Dancing with the Stars" Simon is available to MC award dinners and events. He is a very good MC and who knows may even do a dance turn for you.
