Robyn has learnt her skills and knowledge about time management and productivity from the ground up. In fact, she's made just about all the mistakes in the book, and survived! Her path has taken some interesting turns. First she went from librarian to farmer's wife and mother of six (including an intellectually handicapped foster son). Then a solo mother on government benefits, and from there to a very successful real estate agent, (an obvious career path, wouldn't you suppose!) Robyn had to learn better time management skills - or sink!

For years no one else in the house would answer the phone. She's been kicked out of meetings because she was late. She's burnt out numerous times from overwork. In fact, she thinks she wrote the handbook on stress! And then, one day a friend pointed her in the direction of a decent diary and a few key time management principles. Since then she's turned her biggest weakness into a major strength. 

Since the early 90's she's worked as a keynote speaker and trainer in many countries. These days she speaks to thousands of people a year and is a prolific best-selling author. Her titles include ‘Getting a Grip on Time’, 'Getting a grip on Life - Goals Toolkit', 'Getting a Grip on the Paper War - Managing information in the modern office', 'Getting a Grip on Leadership - how to learn leadership without making all the mistakes yourself, and with LaVonn Steiner ‘About Time – 120 Tips for Those with No Time’ (2001). There are many more titles in the pipeline, she writes for a wide range of business publications, and makes frequent TV and radio contributions. 

As a professional speaker she is one of less than 10% of speakers world-wide to hold the international accreditation of CSP (Certified Professional Speaker), she was also awarded the Spirit of Excellence, the premier annual award given to a member of the National Speakers Association of New Zealand to honour both excellence in the profession of speaking, and commitment and contribution to the speaking industry. In July 2006 – July 2007 she was World President of the International Federation for Professional Speakers.
