Michael grew up in the West Auckland suburb of Massey, Nuu Zillund and has been trying to keep up with the Joneses! ever since, when asked what gets you out of bed early, he replied the police, mind you they don’t bother knocking these days. From having to put out the milk bottles, owning a little red bike, to working centre stage as a trainer for BMW, Yeah right ! Michael now performs his number one rated comedy show “The Game of Two Half Wits”.
If John Howard and Helen Clarke jumped off the Sky Tower who would land first ? Who cares. Michael typifies that down under humour of ‘taking the mickey out of ya mates’ and during his high school years he got 14% in an exam. Mind you he has always been an over achiever. "It was the last time I copied Mike King’s answers."
Having worked his magic for corporate companies like James Hardie, BMW, Hewlett Packard, DHL, ANZ, SC Johnson, Netball NZ, Plumbing World,National Speakers Association Australia and many others, it’s time to bring the show to you.
Over the years Michael has developed a couple of hilarious characters, one being ‘Nigel No Friends’ and the other ‘Senior Sargeant Con Spiracy’. So which side of the law is he really on. In 2007 bro watch out for the launch of “Kevin Kamate”
The great thing about Michael’s shows is there is a lot of audience participation, so be prepared to show a side of yourself that even the office photocopier hasn’t seen.
Game of Two Half Wits
Michael starts show off dressed as a character called Senior Sergeant Con Spiracy, and after having everyone think he is the real deal he does about 15 min stand up comedy.
Format of The Game of Two Half Wits
Participants 10 - 200
With teams of 6 to 12 per team they compete for the title.
• Each team comes up with a team name
• 25 quiz / comedy questions
• Team captain does charades
• 1 member from each team to do an elvis impersonation
• 2 people from each team to an ole time dance
• Everyone copies Michael doing the YMCA
• 3 people from each team do a cheer leader dance
Points are accumulated through the show and Michael is open to friendly
bribery and corruption and the winning team receives gold medals
Time 1 -1/2 hours
Prancing With The Stars
Michael starts this dressed as a character called Nigel No Friends and will
walk into the room and grab somebody’s drink , say nothing and walk out.
He will enter several times doing different antics. He is usually thrown out
of the function and this makes it even funnier.
Format of Prancing With The Stars
Works with 20 – 500 people and just needs a dance floor.
Michael can start this show as one of the two following comedy characters Senior Sargeant Con Spiracy or Nigel No Friends and once he has everyone’s attention he does 15 min stand comedy and then will break the crowd up into 3 and have them dancing to Achy Breaky Heart, Dancing Queen etc.
Judges (from the audience) are put in place along with 4 couples who will
do a dance to the best dance music. The judge’s pass comment however
the final say goes to the crowd.
Time 1-1/2 hours
Senior Sergeant Con Spiracy
Michael turns up dressed as a character called Senior Sergeant Con Spiracy and from your information identifies a suspect who has allegedly committed an offence.
He goes in search of the evidence that can and will be used in a court of law if required… yeah right.
This hilarious performance will help you decide which side of the law he is really on. He will also get everyone up to participate in doing the YMCA Senior Sergeant Con Spiracy style.
Time 15 – 20 minutes
Kevin Kamate
Yo cuzzie bro Michael starts this dressed as a character called Kevin Kamate
After sell out crowds from the 2007 New Zealand International Comedy Festival Kevin Kamate would luv to come over to your place. He will entertain you with his take on tying me kangaroo down sport, along with his adventures from being on TVs Who Wants To Be A Millionaire.
There is some ole favourite songs to be sung like Living next door to Alice, and
Ten Guitars. So if you want some fun at your next conference then give Kevvy a bell aye.
