Dave Upfold has a background of 23 years experience in the Financial world as well as being involved in local Politics for 14 years. He became involved in Politics in South Africa because someone once said, "don't stand on the side line and complain - if you think you can make a difference, do it from within the system, not from outside" - so at the age of 26 he was elected to council and was Mayor of Queensburgh, Durban from 1992 - 1995.
Dave is a member of the Magic Lodge of South Africa & the Brotherhood of Auckland Magicians. He was trained by well known Hypnotheripist Verna Hindmarch in the art of Hypnosis and is a member of The South African Association of Hypnotherapists. Since arriving in New Zealand Dave has made a huge impact on the corporate speaking circuit. He is now one of New Zealand's busiest entertainers.
Dave Upfold can put over 20% of any audience to sleep and is considered one of the "fastest" hypnotists in the world. Besides putting his stage "guests" into a spellbinding state he can also get two of the burliest men to believe they are Russian ballerinas. And that's before his act begins!
Dave has also been involved for 27 years in the Entertainment business as a comedian, magician hypnotist, motivational speaker and MC.
